Brisbane Airport

Operating 24 hours a day, seven days a week, Brisbane Airport (BNE) has two major terminals accommodating 23 airlines flying to 74 domestic and international destinations. It is a suburb in its own right and the third-largest airport in Australia by passenger numbers.

To and from the Airport:

Taxis are available 24/7 from sheltered ranks right outside the Domestic and International Terminals. During peak times, Kerbside Officers are on hand to assist.

  • At the Domestic Terminal, the taxi rank is located centrally in the front of the Terminal building.
  • At the International Terminal, you will find the cab rank in front of the Terminal on the Level 2 Arrivals Road, through the doors and out to the left.

The Airtrain is a quick and easy option for getting to and from the airport. Travelling between the Brisbane Airport and Brisbane City takes just 20 minutes.

Train services run every 15 minutes during peak times and every 30 minutes off-peak periods. Airtrain also connects into the Queensland Rail suburban network.

To use this service, book your ticket on the Airtrain website with 50% reduced fares*, plus access exclusive specials for group travellers travelling together. If you want to purchase tickets on arrival at the Airtrain Station you can buy a paper ticket, travel using go card or travel using contactless payment.

*Travel to the airport for $11.45 from local stations, or $10.95 from city stations.
