Invitation

The application period for volunteers is now closed.

On behalf of the Australian Committee of the IFLA Information Futures Summit, we kindly invite you to become a volunteer during the Summit that will be held from Monday 30 September until Tuesday 2 October 2024 at the Brisbane Convention and Exhibition Centre.

Volunteers play an integral role in supporting the summit. They are key to creating a positive and welcoming atmosphere for delegates while assisting the hosts in delivering a professionally run event.

A series of upskilling programmes and training sessions will be offered to volunteers, and an information kit will be provided regarding specific duties and benefits.

The summit aims to bring the energy, expertise and rich diversity of our field together to find solutions to the information challenges facing us today and in the coming years. Volunteering during the summit presents an exceptional opportunity to explore the latest trends shaping our profession and to deepen your understanding of IFLA’s work and mission.

We warmly invite you to join us, engage in enlightening discussions, and seize the chance to enhance your own professional growth. By participating, you’ll not only support our collective efforts but also enrich your expertise and broaden your horizons. Take the next step in your professional journey and join us at the summit!
